Patricia Ann “Pat” Hines, 78, passed away Friday, June 6th at her residence in Fort Collins, Colorado. Pat was born January 30th, 1941 in Nashville, TN to Charlie Cohen Howell and Lala Lorene (Lokey) Howell. She married William “Bill” Hines at the Church of Christ in Pekin, IL on April 20, 1957. He survives.
Also surviving are three children; Kevin (Emily) Hines of Avon, Indiana, Kim (Tim) Sullivan of Fort Collins, CO, and Kirk (Shelly) Hines of Washington, IL. She also left behind 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. The grandchildren include; Mike (Alyssa) Hines, Joshua (Maria) Hines, Kurt (Alexis) Heller, Scott (Sarah) Heller, Tom Chagolla, Mike Chagolla, Eric (Jacqueline) Hines, Craig Hines, Julie (Luke) Hess. Pat is also survived by one sister, Eunice Sears of Hendersonville, TN and four nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Georgia Koch.
Pat attended Peoria High School in Peoria, IL. She spent her 34 year career at Kroger retiring as traffic manager for the Dallas / Fort Worth area in 2001. Pat will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She had many interests but was particularly passionate about reading and college football.
In 2019 Pat and Bill moved to Fort Collins to be closer to family.
Services will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home in Fort Collins, CO on Friday, June 14th at 2:30 pm.
