Clyda Davenport Mellett

Clyda (Fay) Davenport Mellett, age 78, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019. She was born on March 19, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and co-owner of The Mellett Company. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas F Mellett Sr, her parents Mangrum and Ella Mae Davenport and brothers Sterling Davenport, Guy Davenport, Robert Davenport and Jerry Davenport. She is survived by her brother Charles Davenport, her daughter LeAnn (Shawn) Taylor, Thomas Mellett Jr, granddaughters Taylor (Christopher)Takes, Savannah (Steven) Thompson, and Carleigh Mellett, 1 great grandchild Thomas Tayes and lots of nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday May 11th with visitation from 10-2, in the Chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral home, with services following. Friends and Family will act as Pallbearers.
