Montye Corley Seals

Montye Corley Seals, age 88, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019. Born Sunday, August 2, 1931 in Wilson County, Tennessee and is preceded in death by her parents, Cirg and Montie Cassity Corley; husband, Billy Joe Seals; daughter, Anita Heavener; sisters, Mary Lucy Watson, Mildred Dress, Nelda Ruth Corley; brothers, J. L. Corley, James Corley, Herbert Corley, Jewell Corley, Mack Corley. She was an avid softball player; she also enjoyed basketball and playing golf later in life. Mrs. Seals was a telephone operator with Southern Bell and co-owned Century 21Seals Realtors and Auction. Mrs. Seals survived by her daughters, Terry Seals, Tracey Seals; son, Joey Seals and his wife Shannon; nine grandchildren, Joshua and Jeremy Heavener, Amy Hutchins and Emily Griffith, Ben Burton, Morgan Rangel, Elizabeth, Jonathan and Jacob Seals; four great-grandchildren, Bekah and Lydia Rangel; Carson and Hailey Griffith. A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 Sunday, October 6, 2019 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Steve VanHooser officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Seals at a visitation Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 and Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 12:00 until the 2:00 service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Pike Goodlettsville, Tennessee 37072
