James Colt Mabrey

James Colt Mabrey, age 37, died September 13, 2019 at his home. Funeral Services will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 11:00 A.M. till the time of service. Colt was born March 7, 1982 in Flint, MI to parents James and Mary Yvonne (Wacaser) Mabrey. Colts hobbies included burn outs, race cars, racing at Auto City, working on cars and Jeeps at the Mounds. He mostly loved being with his children and family and helping other people. He would give you the shirt off his back. Surviving are mother Mary Yvonne (Terry) Cooper; daughters Laura Lynne and Mallory Emma Mabrey; twin sister Mary “Tiffanny” (Trent) Hamilton, sister Jennifer (Kevin) Steele, step-brother Jason Cooper, step-sister Tara; grandfather Emery E. Wacaser; nieces Hannah and Lyliannah; nephews Brandon and Kamren; special uncles Jeffery and Richard Wacaser, Jerrald Mabrey; mother of his children Shana Cochran; several nieces and nephews; special friends Jeremy Bailey Todd Herrin Sr. and “Little” Jerry Mabrey; many aunts uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by father James Charles Mabrey, May 4, 2019 and sister “Little” Mary Mabrey July 31, 1980.
