Patricia "Patsy" French

Patricia “Patsy” French, age 65 of Grand Blanc, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019. She was born on November 10, 1953 in Flint to parents Robert and Shirley (Alles) Longroy. She graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1971 and later graduated from U of M – Flint. Patsy sang with the Carolyn Mawby Chorale for over 30 years. Patsy was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was passionate about her teaching and also enjoyed volunteering when she was able. More than anything, she loved her family and would do anything for them. Patsy is survived by her father, Robert Longroy; children: Michael (Anne) French, Christine (fiancé, Jacob Lawrence) French; grandchildren: Tyler French, Michael Derra; siblings: David (Kim) Longroy, Sally (Jim Snook) Longroy; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Longroy. Funeral services will take place at 11am on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 4-8pm and again on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment at Flint Memorial Park.
