JEFFREY, SAUNDRA MAY (ROBINSON) age 82, died Monday July 1, 2019, on her 58th wedding anniversary, at the Ascension Genesys Medical Center. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and the Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 5, 2019 with a luncheon to follow at the First Presbyterian Church, 746 S. Saginaw St., Flint, MI. Rev. Dr. Joseph Novak officiating. The interment will be at the Watertown Township Cemetery at 4:00 P.M. Saundra was born March 28, 1937 in Flint, MI to parents Donald and Ariel (Schell) Robinson. She graduated from Mayville High School in 1955. She then attended Alma College for 2 years, Mott Community College, University of Michigan Flint, University of Dubuque, and then graduated from the University of Michigan in 1965. Saundra worked as a teacher at the Juniata two room country school, the Lapeer State Home, Otter Lake State Billet, Iowa Rural one room country school and as a photographer at Sears Photo Studio. She was a member of the Hansinger Concert Band and Band Boosters at Redford Union High School. Surviving are husband John Jeffrey; children Brad (Gayle) Jeffrey, Scott (Carol) Jeffrey; grandchildren Lauryn, Faith, Nicholaus “Nick”, Samantha “Sam”, Kathleen and Jacob; sisters Madolin Berry, Venita (Valmore) Chapin, Cynthia (Fiore) Bertoni; brother Duane (Noreen) Robinson; many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project.
