Troy Michael Aldrich

Troy Michael Aldrich, age 22, was gloriously welcomed into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Friday, July 19, 2019 while in Petoskey, Michigan after injuries sustained from an accident. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM, Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home -1480 Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Rob Prince from the Flint Central Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 4 PM to 9 PM at Brown Funeral Home. Cremation will take place prior to services. Troy was born Dec.18, 1996, in Flint, Michigan. He graduated with honors from Grand Blanc High School. He worked as a machine operator for ATS. Troy loved political discussion, was a fierce and loyal patriot, lover of animals, lover of technology, and was the most compassionate, caring, humorous, and kind soul. He is survived by his mother and step-father Lisa and Jim Carney; sisters Savannah Carney and Erika Dewitt; brother Jacob Carney; maternal great-grandparents Al and Mary Ikerd, Betty Ellington, Jim and Rosie Ralph; maternal grandparents Joe and Denise Graves, David and Gayla Ralph, Harold and Betty Carney; his fiancé Andrea Sykes; father Randall Aldrich, paternal great-grandparent Lily Miller, grandparents Fred and Brenda Aldrich and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his beloved dog Molly. He is preceded in death by his maternal great grandfathers Duke Ellington and Leo Robert Bennett; great Uncle Barry Bennett; paternal great-grandparents Fred and Helen Aldrich and James Miller; and precious dog Jazzy.
