Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3901 Forest Lawn Drive. Sarah was born on December 31, 1934 in Eden, NC to Willie Leroy and Sarah Pauline Weaver. Before becoming a wife and mother, she worked at Burlington Mills and Meyer’s Department Store in Greensboro NC where she met the love of her life, Sgt. First Class Special Forces Jesus Arenivas of El Paso, Texas and married on July 2, 1956. They settled in Fayetteville, NC where they raised one son Jesus Jr. and two daughters Augustina and Alicia. While being a wonderful wife and mother, she enjoyed painting and being involved with community service. After a move brought the family out west, she eventually retired as a Corporate Bookkeeper in Los Angeles County, Ca. before returning to North Carolina to spend their golden years. Sarah was a special lady with a kind and witty soul who was always ready to help others or make someone laugh. In her golden years, she was devoted to her family especially the little ones who continually blessed her heart. She is preceded in death by her father Willie Leroy and her mother Sarah Pauline, her husband of 63 yrs., Jesus, two sisters Adele Seawell and Alice Fay Fields, and three brothers, Paul, Bill and Phillip Weaver. She is survived by her three kids Jesus Jr. (Tina) Arenivas of Irving, Texas, Augustina (Jerry) Luther of Asheboro and Alicia Arenivas of Clemmons, Six Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and a Great Great Grandson. Our lives will be less without you, but our hearts will be full because you loved us! You are not in pain anymore—Rest in Peace, Our Love. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at WFBH in Winston Salem who cared for Sarah and a special thank you to Dr. Megan Alexander who showed tremendous compassion in her care for several years.
