Sue Ellen Wagner

Sue Ellen Wagner age 70, born May 22nd 1949, entered her heavenly home on September 10th 2019 in Greenville Ohio. She had an amazing love for her savior Jesus Christ and was a member of Greenville Baptist Temple. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who lit up any room she entered. As a 1967 Middletown High School Alumni, she often talked about playing her clarinet in the marching band. She later volunteered at the Middletown Hospital as a Candy Striper and proceeded a career in nursing. During her retirement years she enjoyed running Grumpy’s BBQ with her husband at various fairs and festivals where they met many lifelong friends. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Michael D. Wagner, son Bryon M. Wagner, granddaughters Kayla S. D’Alessandri (Dante) and Bethany P. Wagner, grandsons Brayden J. Wagner and Zachary M. Wagner, great-grandsons Braylen M. D’Alessandri and Kamron D. D’Alessandri, mother-in-law and best friend Marilyn Deangelo and many other family and friends. She is reunited in heaven with Father Kenneth Minge, mother Alberta Minge, and son Kenneth Wagner. Services will be held September 18th at Greenville Baptist Temple, visitation 9 am to 11am and funeral following with a gravesite service at the Dayton National Cemetery at 1:45 PM. Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
