Nadene Ivis MacAulay

Nadene MacAulay of Halifax. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nadene MacAulay, formerly of Saint John NB, on December 01, 2018 at the age of 62.
Born July 29, 1956 in Saint John NB, she was the daughter of the late Judge Harold Prince and Pearl (Logan) Prince. She was predeceased by her brother Lynn.
She leaves behind her loving husband Gordon, her sister Ardyth and Pam (Glenys), niece Stacy,(Travis), grand nephews Euan, Ezra and Eli, nephews Andrew and Mark, and step sons Ian and Jamie (Shannon) and grand daughter Sophie.
Nadene graduated from UNB Law School and joined the NB Barristers’ Society in 1979 and practiced in St George NB. Moving to Halifax and joining the NS Barristers’ Society in 1987. Nadene graduated with a Masters in Social Work from the Maritime School of Social Work in 1987. Over the past 25 years Nadene worked in a number of government departments such as fisheries and immigration, finally retiring last year. Nadene enjoyed her love of travel, shopping and especially her grand daughter Sophie.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and respiratory therapist at VG Site for their kindness and compassion.
Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday December 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax.
