Rachael May Lomas

Lomas (McOnie) February 1925- April 2019 Born Rachael Crowe, eldest daughter of Elizabeth (Crowe) Noseworthy. Born in Amherst, NS passed away April 2nd at QE II Site in Halifax with her loved ones at her side. Rachael spent all her adult life involved with various church and mission groups. She sang with the Junior, Intermediate and Senior choir at Brunswick Street United Church. She was predeceased by husbands, Arthur McOnie and John Lomas; her sons, David Alexander and Arthur McOnie and her daughter, Christine (Sue) Davidson. Leaving to mourn are her children, Kenneth McOnie, Frederick McOnie, John McOnie, Charles McOnie and Shirley Jadowski; sisters, Betty, Clara and Shirley; brothers, Edward (Neddy) and Earnest. Rachael also leaves her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was especially close to Meagan and Josh McOnie. Her last wishes were to be cremated with a private burial at a later date.
