Sharon Catherine Hill

Hill, Sharon Catherine – age 71, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019, at the Shannex Drummond Hall, Prestwick Drive, Halifax. Born in Toronto, Ontario, she was the daughter of Helen (Hayes) Hill of Fredericton, N.B., and James (Jim) Hill. Former school teacher, principal and special education instructor. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Hill (Linda); nieces, Victoria Clarke (Andrew) and Mary Jane Buijsrogge (Martin) and nephew, Darren Hill (Karen) as well as 7 great nieces and nephews: Ava, Delaney, Jack, Kees, Nolan, Willem and Ryker. Funeral service will be held in Saint Mother Teresa Catholic Church, 6032 Normandy Drive, Halifax, at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 13, 2019, with a reception and refreshments to follow. Father Andrew Rembarczyk to officiate. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
