Anka Tomasic

Passed away peacefully on October 6, 2019 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Mato (2016). Loved mother to John (Laura), Nick (Rebecca) and Steve (Kendra). Cherished Baba to Steven (Candice), Jackson, Rex, Micah and Jacob. Special thanks to Dr. Meyers and staff at the Juravinski Hospital and the staff at Willowgrove Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care. As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to the Juravinski Hospital in Anka's memory. Visitation will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street E. (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, October 9th from 6:00pm-9:00pm with Vigil Prayers to be said at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street E. on Thursday, October 10th at 10am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
