Brian David Walker

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brian on February 9, 2019 at the age of 42. He was a proud dad to Grayson. Beloved son to Carol and David Halliday. Brian was predeceased by his father Melvin John (1985). Loving brother to Mike (Tanya), James (Meaghan) and Lindsay (Shaun). He was a special uncle to Isabella, Marisa, Grace, Jared, Jaden, Kayden and Ella. He will be missed by all his extended family in Scotland, England, Ireland and across Canada. Brian will be remembered for his kind wit, his infectious smile and laugh. He will be forever in the hearts of all his family, friends and coworkers who will sorely miss him. The family invite friends for a memorial gathering at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East in Hamilton on Friday, February 15th from 6~9pm. As you know, Brian was a devoted Montreal Canadiens fan and guests are encouraged to wear their favourite hockey jersey in honour of him. A memorial service to celebrate Brian's life will be held at Pioneer Memorial Church, 1974 King Street East on Saturday, February 16th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a Trust Fund has been established for his son, Grayson Walker.
