Charlito Bergantinos

Charlito Bergantinos, 67, of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on May 11, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Survived by the love of his life, Josefina, whom he married in 1979. Loving father of Jochele (nee Aiwen) and Christopher (nee Tabitha).
Charlito is survived by his brothers Diosdado (nee Ticia) and Rolando (nee Tex), along with his grandson Khristan.
Battling ALS since 2005, Charlito always kept positive with his incredible sense of humor. Originally from the Philippines, he brought his family to Canada in 1994. He served the Philippines Marines and was a 7th Dan black belt in Mas Oyama’s Karate. Charlito was well respected as an Architectural and Civil Engineer in the Philippines.
Visitation will be held Friday May 17, 2019 from 2-4pm and again at 6-8pm at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave Hamilton, with funeral service taking place at 10am on Saturday May 18, 2019 at Regina Mundi Parish, 631 Mohawk Rd. W, Hamilton. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
