Frances "Fanika" Krizmanic

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frances on June 10, 2019 at the age of 86 surrounded by her family and their love. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank (1997) of 42 years. Loving mother to Bill (Cheryl) and Eddie (Rose). Adored Baba to Lisa (Steve), Jessica, Christian, Domenic and great-grandmother to Emma. Adored sister to Ana Spahic (Jure) and sister-in-law of Barbara Medved. Predeceased by her brothers Frank and Mato Medved (Slavica). She will forever be remembered by her niece and god-daughter Susan Medved and niece Wendy LaPointe (Tom). Loving Kumovi to Zorica Umolac (and the late John) and family, and dear Kuma of Peter Sintic. Frances will be fondly remembered by family and friends in Canada and Croatia. Special thanks to the staff at the Hamilton General Hospital for their kind care and compassion. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Holy Cross Church in Frances' memory. Visitation will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street E. (at Kenilworth) on Friday, June 14th from 2-4pm and 6-9pm with vigil prayers to be said at 3:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street E. on Saturday, June 15th at 9:30am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
