Peacefully at home surrounded by family, on May 11, 2019 in her 85th year. Predeceased by her husband Ronnie. Loving mother of Karen (Kevin), Paul (Lo), Maureen, Tim and Kathleen (Dave Simpson). Beloved Grams of Devon, Delaney, Brogan, Tiernan, Tessa and Emma. Survived by Cindy, Roy and families. Predeceased by sisters Carol and Yvonne and survived by seven siblings, most especially by her partners in crime Brenda (one of the all time greats), Kathy and Kim. Special thanks to her friend Gloria (Bob) and niece Sandra (Guy). Many thanks to nurse Marian and PSW Kerry, as well as the Palliative Care Team at the JCC. Mom was the nicest person we ever knew. She loved her family, most especially her grandchildren and loved to laugh. Mom was an excellent cook and baker and loved her G&Ts. If you were ever looking for Mom you'd find her at the poker machines! Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Tuesday, May 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Prayers at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at Regina Mundi Parish, 631 Mohawk Rd. W., on Wednesday, May 15th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
