Gladys Huget

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gladys in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph (2006). Dearly loved mother of Helen and Christina (Eddy). Predeceased by her parents Walter and Olga, and siblings Benny, Henry, Kazimer and Helen. Survived by relatives in Canada, Poland and Australia. Gladys was a member of St. Stanislaus Church C.W.L. for many years. Mom will always be remembered for her great craft skills, love of gardening and travel, baking and cooking (especially cabbage rolls, pierogi and apple pie). A special thank you to all the staff of Arbour Creek Care Centre, especially nurses Alex, Melissa, Myrna, Liberty and Dr. Phan for their warm, compassionate care. Family and friends are invited to TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the Delta) for a visitation on Monday, October 1 from 2pm to 4pm, followed immediately by a Rosary service. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 2 in the funeral home chapel at 11 am, with entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
