Peacefully in her 82nd year, Helena passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Loving mother of Danuta Krupa and Zbigniew Banach. Dear sister of Maria and Michal. Cherished Babcia of Anna Kluk (Tomasz), Grzegorz Krupa (Joanna), Marta Partyka (Mariusz), Malgorzata Krupa (Dan) and Magda Herdzik. Loving Prababcia of Kasper, Amelia, Oliver, Claudia, Alexsandra, Maja, and Michal. She will be deeply missed by her extended family Jerzy, Ewa, Michal NImcz, her best friend Janina Dziwota, loving friends Basia, Grazyna Oszust, Krystyna Madej along with many friends in Canada and Poland. The family would like to extend thanks to the competent and compassionate Trauma ER Team, Hamilton General Hospital, Doctor Sharna and the entire staff of the ICU during her stay; thank you for your compassion, help, and support. Friends and family will gather for a visitation at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the Delta) on Wednesday, December 26 from 1 pm to 4pm with a Rosary Service at 3 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Polish Church on Thursday, December 27 at 9 am, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Stanislaw Kostka Church Elevator Fund would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
