Joseph (Joe) Arthur Mahoney

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joe on December 31, 2018 at the age of 68. Loving father of Shirley and Joe Jr. (Tabatha). Cherished grandpa of Kayla, Shane, Teaghan and Tainslee. Dear brother of Bill (Sina) and Margaret. Joe will be sadly missed by other family and friends. Retired employee of Canada Post after 32 years of dedicated service, volunteer of United Way and the Lions Club. Joe loved bringing children joy when he dressed as Santa Claus with various organizations. Visitation at Truscott, Brown & Dwyer Funeral Chapel, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park) on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 6-9pm where the Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 1 pm. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
