Maria Zawadsky

With unbearable sorrow we wish to announce the passing of Maria Zawadsky in her 94th year on April 6, 2019. Maria's love of her family and her family's love of Maria was boundless. Maria leaves behind her husband of 70 years Zenon and her broken hearted son Bohdan. She also leaves behind her loving cousin Lil Rossler and her Goddaughter's Lesia and the apple of her eye Danusia. Her love of Ukraine never left her heart. Her kindness, loving heart and infectious spirit will last forever in the hearts of people that knew and loved her. The family wishes to thank the P.S.W's at The Meadows, especially Raul, Tomboy, Celli in the Kitchen and nurse Jeanette for always making her laugh and taking great care of her. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday from 6-8 p.m. Panachyda at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
