Obituary of Pamela "Pam" Grace Firmin
Pam was predeceased by husband, Sydney (Tim) in 1991. She is survived by her sisters; Janice French, and Ann Wicks and brother in law Alan Elmore and their families and niece Lorna Edmonds (Martin) in England. She will be remembered by her children; Michael (Deborah), Susan (Jeffrey), Ross (Laurel). Beloved Grandmother of David (Autumn), Adam (Victoria), Marshall (Cheryl), Deryk (Heather), Tara (Chris), Jennifer (Jeremy), Joel (Rachel), Lucas (Lidia), Danielle (Elliot). Much beloved Grandma Pam and GeeGee to: Brooklyn, Brayden, Alex, London, Ezra, Carson, Lydia, Cooper, Connor, Sawyer, Isabella, Grayson, Ryder, Avery, Jacob, Oliver, Peyton, Parker, Jude. Pam was a long time Employee of Canada Post. She enjoyed volunteering at Nipissing Manor, in Corbiel and on returning to Hamilton she continued to volunteer for charities at Princess Bingo. Pam loved playing Bingo or going to the Slots, and we hope the friends she met every week remember her well. Pam's family would like to thank those who cared for her and care about her at the Juravinski and Hamilton General Hospitals with a special thank you to Dr. Patrick Magloire for his many years of care and compassion, especially in these last few weeks. We would also like to mention the care she received from Dr. DiValentino and Dr. Marcellus. Pam fought hard to remain with us but in the end she just wanted to go home. We were able to wish her love and safe travels to be with her loved ones who went before her, she is now at peace. Pam's arrangements have been entrusted to Cresmount Funeral Home. As per Pam's wishes only a private family visitation will be held, followed by cremation. Those who would like to make a donation in Pam & Tim Firmin's honour they can be made to the Canadian Wildlife Foundation , Mission Services of Hamilton, or the charity of your choice. We encourage family and friends to share memories on the Book Of Condolences, www.cresmountfennellchapel.com. A light is from our household gone. A voice we loved is stilled. A place is vacant in our home, that never can be filled. The Golden Gates did open. A gentle voice said, “Come”. And with farewell unspoken, we said, “Thy will be done”. May the Blessed Virgin greet her and present her to her Son. May Her Sacred Heart receive her, as it was, God’s will was done.
