Shirley Karns

Passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in her 79th year. Predeceased by her husband Joe and her son Brian. Loving mother of Bruce, and Anne-Marie (Mike). Proud grandmother of four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her four sisters and two brothers as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
