Zofia Matwychuk

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and their love on November 17, 2018 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her parents Pawel and Franka Czech and her 8 siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her niece Rosalia (deceased Stefan), nephews Walter (Irene), John Karol (Janina) and their families. Zofia will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends in Canada and Poland. Special thanks to the nurses from VON & Homecare for their kind care and compassion for Zofia. Visitation will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the Delta) on Monday, November 19th from 5pm-8pm with Panachyda at 7:30pm. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Spirit Ukrainian Church, 15 St. Olga Street, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
