Brandon Wilburn

Brandon Dean Pingleton Wilburn of Hampton, VA a gentle giant who was larger than life passed away June 7, 2019 at the age of 37 at his home with close friends that he called family by his bedside. He is survived by his father Melvin Wilburn; brothers Daniel Pingleton, Casey Pingleton; five nephews and three nieces. He was predeceased by his mother Kay Wilburn; uncle Paul Anthony (Tony) Pingleton; great uncle Kelly Roberts; paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents. Brandon was born in Abilene, KS on September 2, 1981. He graduated from Junction City High School in 2000. After that life brought him to Hampton, VA where he ended up working for Harrison’s moving and storage for many years. Brandon later worked for Roberts furniture and mattress until his passing. Brandon never met anybody he didn’t know. He enjoyed helping people on a daily basis. He loved spending time with family and friends and cheering on his Kansas City Chiefs. A gathering and celebration of Brandon’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 18, 2019 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home 2551 N. Armistead Hampton, VA 23666.
