Nancy Craig Habermann, age 87, of Bass River, MA & Boynton Beach, FL passed away on August 28 surrounded by her loving family.
She was the daughter of the late Franklin Craig and Florence Barry Craig of North Easton. Born and raised in N. Easton, She worked for John Hancock in Boston as a Manager in the underwriting department .
Nancy loved the ocean and the beach. As “snow birds” she and Ed spent time in Boynton Beach to escape the cold New England winters and enjoyed summers at their home in Bass River. She also enjoyed dining out and meeting new people. As a natural conversationalist, she left a mark wherever she went and on whomever she spoke with. Above all else, Nancy adored her family and friends and found great pleasure in spending quality time with each and every one of them, most notably her best friend and husband, Ed.
In addition to Ed, her husband of 23 years, Nancy leaves her daughter Joanmarie and her husband Brian Tracy of Cummaquid, MA, her sister Jeanne C. Daley of Quincy and her brother John B. Flynn of Bourne, MA. She is predeceased by her brothers George H. Craig, Franklin E. Craig, Jr., Richard M. Craig, Robert H. Craig, Donald F. Craig and Bradford W. Craig, and by her sisters Anne M. LeSieur, Dorothy L. Craig and Ruth C. Horan and by her previous husband Francis S. Radula.
A Funeral Mass for Nancy will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at St. Pius X Church, 5 Barbara Street, South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
