Mary "Polly" Pauline Kelly

Mary Pauline "Polly" Robeson Kelly passed away peacefully in her home in Jacksonville, FL, surrounded by loved ones on September, 8, 2019. Polly, the second oldest child of Fife and Clora Robeson, was born on February 10, 1926 in Malvern, Arkansas, where she grew up with her 5 siblings. She was a spirited child who enjoyed spending time with her friends and cousins as well as playing pranks on relatives and neighbors. She graduated high school in Malvern and while working, met Joe Kelly Sr., whom she later marred. Joe and Polly Had their first child, Cathy Kelly and then moved to Atlanta, Georgia where their son, Joe Kelly II was born. In 1956, they moved their family to Jacksonville, Florida where Polly has resided since. As a single mother, Polly worked hard to support her children by bar tending and working as a waitress thru her 75th birthday. She was feisty and fun to be around and quite the fashionista. Polly was an avid gardener and loved her roses. Polly loved taking her family out to Beach Road Chicken for a good southern meal. She worked out regularly at the gym and walked 5 miles a day until she was 82 years old and looked glamorous while doing so! Polly enjoyed traveling to the islands and the keys where she liked to go deep sea fishing. Polly also enjoyed spending time with her family. Polly is survived by her daughter Cathy Kelly Ferreira of Pepperell, MA , her son, Joe Kelly II of Valkaria, Florida, sister, Nita House of Malvern, AK, brother AJ Robeson of Mabelvale, AK, Nephew, Tony Robeson of Little Rock AK, niece Kim Stanley of Malvern AK, granddaughter, Kelly West of Jacksonville, FL, grandson, Aaron Kelly of Jacksonville, Fl, granddaughter, Erica Graves of Jacksonville, FL, grandson, Jamie Frisone of Scotsdale, AZ, grandson, Chris Addington of Mobile, AL, grandson, Joe Kelly III of Melbourne, Fl, granddaughter, Katie Palmeter of Jacksonville, FL, grandson, Jackson Kelly of Valkaria, FL, grandson, Scotty Kelly of Valkaria, Fl, great-grandchildren, Catherine Frisone of Jacksonville, Fl, Steven West of Boston, MA, Chelsey Kelly of Ankeny, IA, Matthew Addington of Mobile, AL, Hayden Graves of Jacksonville,Fl, Braelyn Arenella of Melbourne, Fl, Lindyn Arenella of Melbourne, Fl, Joseph Kelly IIII of Melbourne, FL and Jacoby Kelly of Melbourne, Fl.
