Sherman Caudill

Sherman Caudill was born in West Virginia on April 8th 1963 to Helen and Donald Caudill. He passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning September 12th 2019, in Jacksonville North Carolina. Sherman was a loving father, brother, uncle, and wonderful friend to all he met. As a child he suffered the very difficult loss of his mother, which left him and his siblings being separated and relocated often. As a young man Sherman continued to relocate to meet new people and see different cities and when he did he never failed to brag on his children's and grandchildren's accomplishments. Sherman was a very outgoing and loving person who will be dearly missed by many people in many different states because that's how many lives he touched with his love and kindness. Sherman is survived by 3 daughters, Carmen Caudill, Ginger Caudill, and Sabrina Caudill. He is survived by one son Bub Caudill, and numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by four sisters, Patricia Caudill Rash who resides in Morganton NC, Margaret Marie Caudill, Shirley Ann Caudill, and Judy Caudill. He is also survived by six brothers, Johnny Caudill, Donald Lee Caudill, who reside in West Virginia, Elvis Caudill, Eugene Caudill, who reside in North Carolina, Stacy Bentley, and Clinton Bentley. Sherman was proceeded in death by his mother, Helen Bentley Caudill, his father Donald Caudill, his brother Daryl Caudill, his sister Katherine McCormack, and his sister in law Sherry Lynn Caudill. There will be no formal services held. As Sherman has tons of family and friends in many different states, his family ask that on Saturday, October 5th that you celebrate his life. At 2pm the family will be releasing purple (his favorite color) and white balloons while we say our final goodbyes.
