Johnnie Martha Fox Whitaker, age 74, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Edgar William Fox and Ruby Bell Murray Fox.
She is survived by her husband Ron Whitaker; one daughter, Sherry Lirrie; four sons, Geronia Cooter, Jerome Cooter, Billy Boy Cooter, and Kirk Ford; several grandchildren; and two sisters, Susan Fox and Jane Fox.
She requested to be cremated and have no formal services.
Mrs. Whitaker and her family are in the care of Monte Vista Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1900 E. Oakland Avenue, Johnson City, TN; 423-282-2631.
