Cydney, You were a wild ride that brought me so much joy and a little fear at the same time. You always kept me on my toes; never could I anticipate your next move. There are so many reasons why I love you so hard. I love that you never backed down when you believed in something and that you never gave-up, even if the odds were against you. Once your mind was set on something, there was no changing it. I love that you always took the time to tell random strangers that you liked something that they were wearing or that their hair was pretty. I love that you never failed to say “I love you”, even when you were mad at me. I love that when you laughed, you sometimes snorted a little. I love that your personality was so big, it could hardly be contained in your small body. I love that the way to your heart was a yummy, home cooked meal. I love that you taught me so many life lessons, most importantly, how to be a mom. When you were born you became my first experience of tangible love. You have taught me so much about empathy,patience, and the true meaning of tough love. You have been a powerful teacher in my life. I feel so blessed you chose me to be your mom.
