Alicia Rita Sanchez, 60, Kansas City, MO, passed away September 29, 2019 at NorthCare Hospice House. The visitation will be from 10:00 -11:00 AM Thursday, October 3rd, with Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 4737 N. Cleveland Ave, Kansas City, MO. 64117. Private inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions suggested to NorthCare Hospice House, 2800 Clay Edwards Dr. 2nd Fl., North Kansas City, MO. 64116. Alicia was born August 22, 1959 in Kansas City, MO to Rita and Anthony Sanchez. She graduated from Winnetonka High School and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Missouri, Kansas City. Alicia was the first in her family to receive a college education. Most of her career was in purchasing and was employed for 24 years with Hallmark. In her spare time, she was also a care giver. Alicia was preceded in death by her mother, Rita in 2018. Alicia is survived by her father, Anthony B. Sanchez; siblings, Ramona A. Sanchez, Rose (Harry) Owens, and Robert (Amy) Sanchez; and nephews, Brian Gill and Thom Schollars.
