Jackson Charles Owens

Jackson Charles Owens, 17, passed away July 30, 2019. Rosary recitation will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 5 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Overland Park, KS with visitation from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 6 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Shawnee Mission South Boys Soccer Boosters, 5800 W. 107th St., Overland Park, KS 66207. Jackson was born in Boise, Idaho and was a student at Shawnee Mission South High School. He was an avid soccer player, loved Marvel movies, music and amusement parks. Jackson was preceded in death by two sisters, Nicole and Heather Owens and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Karen Castor. Survivors include his mother, Angela Owens; his father Thomas Owens, Jr.; three brothers, Shawn, Stephen and Jacob Owens; paternal grandparents, Tom, Sr. and Cathy Owens and multitudes of aunts, uncles and cousins.
