IN THE CARE OF
Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park
Cheryl Dougherty Bos, 48, passed away on Monday, April 2 in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Cheryl Cathleen Dougherty, born on April 11, 1969 in Georgia, was the friendliest person in the world and was a true helper of all God’s creations: men, women, children and animals. Everyone who had the privilege to meet Cheryl would describe her in the same way – they would say that she would ‘give you the shirt off her back’ for anybody or anything at any time.
Cheryl was a very creative person. She loved to sew and made clothing and costumes for her and her kids. Beading became her passion and she designed beautiful jewelry for family and friends alike. She was also an avid reader and wanted to one day write her own novel.
Cheryl loved history and talking about memories. She was very interested in finding out all about her ancestors and where we all came from. She always enjoyed telling stories from her past and listening to the stories from others.
Cheryl is survived by her children, James and Madelief, her mother, Gretchen, her sister and family, Kristin and her brother and family, Glen. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her widespread circle of firends.
There is a Celebration of Life Ceremony planned for Cheryl on Saturday, April 14 at 2:00 pm at Tavern at Towne Lake (http://tavernattownelake.com/).
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to donate in Cheryl's name to one of the following organisations so very dear to Cheryl.
