Christopher Kitt

Christopher Kitt – a resident of Kenora, Ontario passed away suddenly on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital. He was born April 30, 1985 in Kenora, Ontario. He attended Pinecrest and King George and beaver brae school. Later on in life achieving his G.E.D. was active in sports involving bowling, swimming and sailing and at 9 decided on hockey. He grew many friendships as a child that he never forgot. He loved his daughter and step-son deeply. His nana was a big part of his life till her passing in 2006. He was predeceased by his grandparents Phyllis and Edward Kitt and Frank and Elaine Creed. He is survived by his mother Sheila Byers, step-father Stephen Creed, daughter Kaylee Kitt, step son Tyrus Skead, brothers Sean Creed, Ken Creed (Jessica Ronning), nephews Kashton and Kayce Creed, his god-parents John and Louise Zilinski and Sha Sha Skead mother of his children, Papa Hilo Robert Skead. He is also survived by his uncles Stanley Kitt, David (Crystal) and their children Kayla, Billy, John and Michael, Philip Creed, Wayne (Laverne) Creed, Jodie (Shawn), Allan (Jen), Thomas, Violet (Don) Hickey, Hayden, Cynthia Creed, Meagan (Dave), Leslie (Stewart), Samuel, Lara (Ron), Davin (Bri), Rosalyn, Ryan, Marcelena, Tara Byron, Roland Turcotte, Cindy (Jim) Burley. Great Aunts and Uncles Janet (Donnie) McKinnon, Margaret Parent (Joe), Linda (Don) Pratt, Dennis (Barb) Pearson and Gary (Terri) Byers and many more relatives too many to name. You left us way to soon till we meet again. A special thanks to the first responders who tried and the families who helped its greatly appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at Knox United Church with Meg Illman-White officiating. Interment will be held immediately following the service at Lake of the Woods Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the Super 8 ‘Minis’ Hall.
