Leah Land June 1, 1930 – July 4, 2019 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother. She passed away peacefully at Birchwood Terrace Nursing Home on July 4, 2019. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas Land Sr., parents Horace Spence, Jane Spence (nee Kent), sisters Bessie Land and 5 other sisters whose name are unknown, her children 6 sons and daughter Mary Ann Land, niece Mary Starr (Kent), nephews Robert Kent and Isaac Mandamin Sr., grandchildren Marie Hunter, Elizabeth (Sput) Copenace, Bobby Mandamin, Reuben and Juliette Hunter, Laverna, Calamy Land, Rose Boyd, Janine Taylor, Charlie Keith, Orval, Ryan Scott and Elva Paishk. She is survived by her sons Tommy Land (Sandy), Albert Land (Doris), daughters Barbara (Perry) Kejick, Leah Kakekagumick (Stephen), nieces Orpha Copenace, Jane Taylor, Jerry Land, grandchildren Charles (Anita) Copenace, Peggy (Ernest) Hunt, Reggie Copenace, Darlene Starr, Anneke Cameron, Clifford Muckle, Tara Land (Nathaniel), Nathan Land, Theodore (Lisa) Kejick, Thomas Kejick (Sadie), Tana Hernborge Kejick, Isaiah (Cita) Mandamin, Ron Jr. (Larissa), Bessie, Norma Taylor, Julia, John (Carla) Mable, June, Betsy, Pam, Isaac Jr. Mandamin, Raymond and Donna Land. Great grandchildren Dabney, Justine, Clara, Abby, Ariyah-Rihanna, John, Sarah Kejick, Dylan Kejick, Caliah, William Bunting, Thade Mandamin, Avalie, Macrae Mandamin, Danika Land, Patrick and Rachel Kent, Serena Copenace, Chuck Copenace, Calamy, Neepakan, Lalita Hunt, Kamara, Chanel, James, Mercedi, Donavon, felicity Taylor and numerous great grandchildren and relatives too numerous to mention. Leah lived her life fully she was kind, loving and always had a smile on her face, had a big loving heart for everyone, she gave her life to the lord and travelled sharing the word of God to a lot of place’s, she travelled with Pastor Olive Cameron, Joseph Kematch, (Preacher) Teresa Tikanye, Elizabeth Kent. Leah will be loved and missed but will be in our hearts forever. Wake Service will begin on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Whitedog School. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 11:00 am with burial to follow. The family would like to thank the Birch wood Terrace Nursing Home staff and Dr. B.
