Bradley Thomas Gilbertson

Bradley (Bud) Thomas Gilbertson, 53, of Traverse City, Michigan, passed away suddenly on October 12th, 2019. Bud was born June 13th, 1966 to John Gilbertson and Linda (Rehil) Humphrey in Kalkaska, Michigan. Although born with the name Gilbertson, it would be Floyd Humphrey who he would call "dad." Bud was a happy-go-lucky guy who was a devoted son, brother, and uncle who enjoyed the simple things life had to offer, especially if it involved family and board games. Bud was preceeded in death by his grandparents Howard and Grace Rehil, Frederick and Margaret Gilbertson, step father Floyd Humphrey, aunt Carol Hermann and brother John Gilbertson. Bud is survived by his mother Linda Humphrey, biological father John Gilbertson, sister Kristine Gilbertson, brother-in-law Shawn Phillips, nieces Tara Worm and Tracy Smith, great-niece Amelia Mason; and great-nephews Mason Worm, Mitchell Worm, and Riley Mason. Visitation will be held at the Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley Michigan at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 17th, 2019, with the funeral service at 12:00 pm officiated by Father Gerald Okoli, and the burial will follow at Saint Mary of Hannah. Memorial contributions in Bud's name can be made to the humane society.
