Harvey Wayne Kenyon Jr.
January 28, 1946 – August 31, 2019

Harvey Wayne Kenyon, Jr., 73, Kokomo, passed away at 1:50 P.M. on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Waterford Place Health Campus. He was born January 28, 1946 in Kokomo, he was the son of the late Harvey Wayne Kenyon Sr., and Anna Wanda (Crabtree) Reynolds. On December 18, 1965, he married Nancy J. Allison in Kokomo, and she survives.
He retired in May 1998 from Chrysler Transmission Plant after 30 years of service. He was a member of the UAW 685. After retiring, he and his wife spent the winter months in Southern Texas, camping in their motorhome. They also enjoyed going on cruises.
Wayne also used his creative talents as an accomplished stained glass artist and created many beautiful keepsakes, and had a very large seashell collection.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Nancy; three sons, Tony Wayne Kenyon, Kokomo, Kevin Lynn (Stephanie) Kenyon, and Bryan Scott (Christy) Kenyon; grandchildren, Alannah Nowell Kenyon, Alexander Jay, and Kaitlyn Faith Kenyon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant brothers, Dallas Ray and Michael Steven Kenyon; and his youngest son, Curtis Lamar Kenyon.
Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 6 at 10:00 A.M. at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, officiated by Pastor Jeff Sexton. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, Sept. 5 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
