Obituary of Robert Eugene Addison
Robert Eugene Addison, 71, of Kokomo, went to be with the Lord at 5:20 AM Saturday August 31, 2019 from St. Vincent Heart Center, Indianapolis. Born September 26, 1947 in Kokomo, he was the son of the late George Oliver Addison and Betty (Corlew) Micheli. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. On November 4, 1967 in Big Spring, Texas, he married Patsy Ruth (Sullivan), and she survives. He worked for Haynes International as a shop mechanic and a foreman for over 31 years, retiring in 2009. He then worked for O'Reilly Auto Parts for several years. He was a member of Carpenters House Church, Kokomo Blue Angels; was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working on cars. Survivors include his wife of over 51 years, Patsy Ruth Addison of Kokomo; two daughters Tammari Lorraine Ingalls (Steven) of Wabash and Michelle Diane Ellis of Kokomo; one brother George O. Addison (Mary) of Knoxville, TN; two grandchildren Sullivan Wesley Robert Addison and Sarah Nicole Ellis; three great grandchildren Karlin Elizabeth Mae Brown, Marleigh Jean Ruth Addison and Aurora Melody Kay Gilliam; also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ronald Addison and one sister Sharon Diane Holland. A Celebration of Robert's life will be held at the Carpenters House Church Friday September 6, 2019 at 11:00am with Pastor Paul Sutherland officiating. There will be time for gathering from 10am to 11am. The Kokomo VFW and the United States Air Force will conduct Military Honors at the beginning of the service at 11:00am.
