Linda Marie Bennett

On Monday morning, September 30, 2019, Linda Marie Bennett, loving wife and mother, went to join her savior, at the age of 65. Linda was born on June 1, 1954 in Lansing, MI to Edward Favier and Theresa Palucki. She attended Lansing Schools and got her GED in 1973. She was married for 28 years to her loving husband, Dan. Linda started driving bus for Special Transportation before moving to CACS Head Start 27 years ago. She loved the job and more importantly she loved the children. She drove her "kids" every day to school and watched out for them always. Every Christmas she gave crayons to all the children. If one needed boots in the winter, a coat, school supplies or a backpack she made sure they got it. She was always there to provide a stable environment for them. She loved everyone and had an infectious energy. Linda had a positive attitude no matter what life handed her. Linda loved her grandchild, Irelyn, so much she would always say "Hi Irelyn" in her Grandma tone when she would call. She was looking forward to the wedding of her oldest grandchild, Elora, in December. Linda loved each grandchild with all of her heart. She also loved her shelter dog, Gilbert. She was a huge MSU fan. She loved her earrings and always had a supply of MSU gear including earrings. She was known for her earrings including Halloween spider earrings. She was an avid music lover, gardener, and collector of frogs. She loved to write. She is sadly missed by us all. Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Palucki. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved spouse, Daniel "Dan" Bennett; 5 sons, Ian, Derek, Dan, Paul and Matt Bennett; 1 daughter, Jennifer Dover; 4 grandchildren, Elora Dover, Johnathan Dover, Elia Dover and Irelyn Bennett; father, Ed Faiver; 1 brother, Dave Faiver; 1 brother in law, Tim Fink; 1 sister, Carol Fink, 1 sister in law Karen Faiver. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens.
