Obituary of Rosemary Ledesma
Rosemary Ledesma, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on October 1, 2019 at the age of 59 surrounded by her family. Rosemary was born on June 6, 1960 to Jesse and Maria Gutierrez in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She married Steve Ledesma at St. Julia's Catholic Church. Rosemary was a devout Catholic woman of strong faith and completed all the sacraments. She was currently an active member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church where she devoted her time by teaching Sunday school and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was an also a member of Santa Cruz Catholic Church for many years. Her faith was very important to her as she made it a top priority while her children were young, to regularly attended Sunday school and complete all of their sacraments. Rosemary loved to shop, bargain shop! She loved to travel, she went to places like Las Vegas, Florida, Rome, New York, Washington DC, and Hawaii. She also loved to bake with her grandchildren. Rosemary also enjoyed gardening, sewing and making wreaths, as well as playing Mexican bingo with her mom and sisters. But, most of all, she just loved to be with her family. Rosemary retired from the City of Austin where she worked as a Purchasing Manager for 20 years. She was currently a Purchasing Manager with the City of Georgetown. She loved her job and enjoyed the many friendships she made over the years with her co-workers. Survived by beloved husband of 40 years, Steve Ledesma, daughters Melissa Martinez and Christine Kilcrease, and son Jonathan Ledesma. She had 5 grandchildren. Jude, Sarah, Matthew, Dean and Constantine. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM with a Rosary at 5:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home located at 1200 South Bagdad Road, Leander, Texas 78641. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, October 7, 2019 with food and fellowship to follow, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church located at 1101 West New Hope Drive, Cedar Park, TX 78613.
