Mary-Jean Schnell

On February 6, 2019 Mary-Jean Schnell died in Leduc peacefully at the age of 89. Mary-Jean was born on July 7, 1929 to James and Jean Findlay in Alliance, Alberta. She was the eldest of 4 children. Raised during the Great Depression, times were tough but home was always a warm, loving place. She is survived by her two daughters, Beverley Horn (Larry) and Valerie Martin (Robb), 4 grandchildren Shayne Horn (Vicky), Sherena Shalagan (Clay), Cassidy Martin (Teira) and Chad Martin and 6 great-grandchildren Shelby Horn, Brantley Horn, Eli Shalagan, Zane Shalagan, Holden Martin and Henley Martin. She is also survived by one sister, Kathy Hill and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband of nearly 55 years, Leo, her parents, her brother Ken Findlay and sister Gwen Vincett.
