Patricia (Alice) March

Surrounded by the love of her family, Alice entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2019. Alice was 74 years old, and started her life journey in Pictou, NS. She then spent the greater majority of her life in Paris Ontario with her husband Jim, raising their family. Alice has been reunited in heaven with Jim, after 31 years of marriage and Jim’s sudden passing in 1995. After enjoying many years of retirement back in Pictou, Alice moved west to Alberta. Loving mother of Elizabeth (Glen) Beechey, Marguerite (Ted) Attlebery, Catherine (Brent) Dawes, and Michelle (James) Farquhar. Cherished Grandmother of Baxter (Sarah) Attlebery, John Attlebery (Kayla), Jordan Farquhar (Michael), Logan Beechey, Alex Farquhar (Maddie) and Madison Dawes. Blessed Great Grandmother to Sloan Attlebery. Survived and lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters; Sam (Francis), Kelvin (Arleen), Spike (Mary), Donora (John), Marguerite , Sonny (Linda) and sister-in-law Jean. Dear sister-in-law of Johnny (Barb), Betty (Ed), Patsy, Stevie (Jeanette), Billy, Lolly, Kevin (Georgina), Paul, Rose (Stan), Gerry (Linda), Bob (Holly) and Mike (Mary). Predeceased by brothers, Toph, Jim, and Doug; brothers-in-law Alvin and Gary; sisters-in-law Betty and Sue. Alice was a sincerely beloved Aunt to a legion of adoring nieces and nephews and always had a large circle of endearing friends supporting her, throughout her life. She was especially cared for by the staff at Leduc Homecare and the warm-hearted professionals at St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital, Hospice/Palliative Care . Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be held at St. Vital church, Beaumont, AB on Thurs January 31st, @ 2:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in Ontario, in the coming months.
