Obituary of Violet Schmidt
On April 24, 2019 Violet passed away peacefully at the age of 83 with family by her side. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John, Father and Mother; Albert and Augusta (Begalke) Sonnenberg. She was a treasured mother to William (Beverly), Marvin (Leslie) and cherished grandma to Amanda (Kent), Vanessa, John, Derek and great grandma to Everett and Kaycee. Violet was an independent hardworking woman who loved her family and friends. A service for Violet will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday May 6th, 2019 at St Mathews Lutheran Church 5115-48 Ave Thorsby, Alberta. Interment to follow at St John’s cemetery near Telfordville. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Cross Cancer Institute.
