Luis E. Fuentes

Luis E. Fuentes, 95, of Levelland passed away at his home Sunday, August 4, 2019. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday at George Price Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 Friday at Saint Michael Catholic Church in Levelland. Burial will follow in Levelland City Cemetery. Luis was born June 21, 1924 in Ruidosa, Texas to Braulio and Remedios Fuentes. He was married to Maria Cruz Fuentes for 71 years, she preceded him in death in 2016. He worked as a farmer and when he was young people called him cowboy, because of his skill and talent working with horses. Luis was a longtime resident of Levelland and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Virginia (Robert) Escalante, Estella Fuentes; Emma Morales; Angie Fuentes, Sofia (Jesse) Mercado, Senaida (Rick) Payne, Betty (Rene) Torres, David (hope) Fuentes and Lynda (Richard) Frazier; and 16 grandchildren.
