Gerard De Lorenzo

Gerard DeLorenzo of Livingston, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Inglemoor Rehabilitation Center in Livingston. He was 87 years old.
Born and raised in Newark, Jerry attended Central High School. He lived in East Orange before moving to Livingston in 1965.
Following his service in the Army during the Korean War, Jerry went to work for the Mennen Company in Morristown where he remained for 35 years. He retired 30 years ago as the Manager of Systems Development.
He was the beloved husband of Mary (nee Tronolone), loving father of Michael DeLorenzo and his wife Rosemarie, Jennifer Rullis and her husband Ralph, and Lisa Nisivoccia and her husband Rocco, dear brother of Joseph DeLorenzo and his wife Dianna, and cherished grandfather of Michael, Leah, Daniel, James, and Mia. He also leaves behind his dear sister-in-law Florence DeLorenzo and his many cherished nieces and nephews.
He is pre-deceased by his parents Joseph and Jennie (nee Pezzano) and his siblings Sabina Immersi and Frank DeLorenzo.
Visitation is being held at the LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, on Sunday, May 12, 2019 from 2-6 pm.
The Funeral will commence at the funeral home on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Raphael’s Church in Livingston. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
