William Lee Leffler Jr.

William L. Leffler, Jr., 78, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 8th. He had retired as a supervisor with CSX. Mr. Leffler was an Army veteran, a Kentucky Colonel, and was a member of the NRA and River Of Life (Crums Ln). He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pat Leffler; two sons, Bill Leffler III (Veronica) and Steve Leffler; six grandchildren, Kristi Hackeman (Eric), Scott Leffler (Tracy), Wesley Leffler (Deven), Katie Thornton (Jeffrey), Avalon Leffler and Sebastien Leffler; special brother-in-law, Dwight Spurling; special sister-in-law, Paula Van-Meter; special nieces, Dorothy Cook (of Toccoa, GA) and Donna Schupska (of Ft. Campbell, KY). His funeral will be on Saturday at 11am at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Friday from 2pm until 8pm.
