Austin French

Austin French was born on May 31, 1996 in Athens, Texas to parents John Marcus and Karla (Crow) French and entered into eternal rest on June 3, 2019 at the age of 23. Austin was just a big ole’ teddy bear. Always friendly, outgoing and loved everyone. He graduated from Mabank High School in 2015 and worked at Carol’s Jr. Austin loved the Dallas Cowboys, car shows, cold beer and dipping snuff. He loved playing Grand Theft Auto and going four wheelin’ and muddin’. Austin enjoyed being with his family, having cookouts behind the house and playing pool. He was an amazing young man, who is gone too soon and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Austin was preceded in death by his grandparents Papa and Mama Smith, grandmother Betsy Hunter and grandfather Donald Crow. He is survived by his father and mother; John and Karla French of Mabank, brother Johnathan French and wife Ashlee of Mabank, sister Desiree Trice and husband Jeff of Forney, sister April Applin and husband J.R. of Hutchins, nieces and nephews; Harley, Aubrey, Z, Jeff, Zoey, Gabrielle, Haley, Hannah, Samantha, Buddy, Alayna and Kiegen, grandmother Charlotte Dickerson of Caddo Mills, aunt and uncle; Angel and Chris, cousin Trevor French, cousin Johne Ferguson and wife Brittany, cousin Courtney, cousin Chris, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
