Kenneth Dean Stewart Sr. (Ken, Kenny Bob, Dad, Dean, Grandpa, Pawpaw, Coach Ken, Captain Stewart), born January 14, 1944 in Wichita, Kansas passed away on May 12, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara and his children Mike (Patsy) Stewart, Brenda (Kevin) Briles, Kenneth Dean Jr. (Abby) Stewart, Kellie (Tyson) Eschenbach, Kass (Lindsey) Stewart, Kyle Stewart, grandchildren; Cameron, Elizabeth, Rodney, Holly, Addison, Olivia, Jax and Conor, and 3 great grandchildren. There were many things in life he really loved, his family, being a police officer, playing softball, classic cars and Duke basketball. He earned numerous college degrees including a Criminology Degree and a Law Degree. Kenneth was a lifelong student and teacher. He loved coaching kids in sports, he raised pigeons and bees (and kids), he loved to have parties and smoke a hog in his smoker. He loved to garden, and he grew a mean fig bush! He loved attending car shows and making new friends.
