Alfred Libby

Alfred Albert Libby Jr. 94 passed on 7/14/19. He was born on 5/22/25 in Winslow, Maine to Alfred Albert Libby Sr. and Margaret Michaud Libby. He served our country during World War II; 1944 to 1946 and was honorably discharged. He married Rita Therrien in 1948 and is survived by her and their six children, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, six siblings and his granddaughter Megan Libby. Al and Rita lived in Maine, California and Oregon. Al had a lifelong career with the postal service and retired as the postmaster of Quincy, California. Al was a lifelong cribbage player, he loved eating corn on cob, lobster and fiddlehead ferns. He was a lifelong catholic. He will be missed!
