Glen Uwe Kurt Arendt Saturday, 23 Mar 2019 We regret to announce the passing of Glen Arendt. Glen was born in Germany and came to Canada when he was twenty, quickly becoming a proud Canadian. He found work on Edmunds Ranch in the Cariboo, where he met his wife Margaret. He had a long career in the forestry industry in B.C., Alberta and Manitoba. He had three sons, Glen (Carol), Cole and Hondo (Katie). He eventually settled in the Nicola Valley. In his later years, he worked as a realtor, before retiring and moving into Merritt, where he was often visited by his children and eight grandchildren, Dianna, Liam, Sarah, Ember, Malcolm, Macalister, Shade and ElseDora. He will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, sisters; Reina, Gudrun and Arnhilde in Germany and Gerlinde Goerlitz of Merritt and the many other friends and relatives in his life. A memorial gathering will be held this summer in Merritt.
